The Paleo Diet has been nicknamed the “Caveman Diet” because you are supposed to only eat foods that cavemen ate, but this really is a simplistic summarization of the diet. It includes meats, specifically animal proteins, healthy fats and oils, fruits, and veggies while you are to avoid processed grains, carbs, and sugar.
